Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 Tablet review and specs

Motorola Doom Design and Display The Motorola Doom looks Smaller than the pad, though it's not that much Smaller and at 1.6 lbs. weighs the same as the 3G + Wife pad. The display dominates, and the bezel is quite small, the is good for typing on the large on-screen keyboard. If you have large fingers, you may accidentally trigger the on-screen elements however, if your fingers move beyond the thin bezel. The pixel density is higher than the pad's 132ppi, and slightly lower than the Nook Colour's 169ppi. The Doom ships with a dummy module inside the 4G LTE and it has an SIM card slot under a plastic door on the top edge (there's a clear dummy SIM card in the slot). There's a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack up top, and Motorola sells an optional speaker dock with HDMI out.
The 10.1 ", 1280 x 800 pixel widescreen display and an HDMI out port of the
Motorola Doom promising the make-a portable movie player. There's no Hula yet, but Hula says Android support is coming for Hula Plus. Sound output via the 3.5mm stereo jack is excellent and the tablet works with A2DP Bluetooth speakers and headphones. As an e-Book Reader
if you're in the LCD rather than E-Ink camp, the Doom is an excellent e-book reader Kindle That Works with, Nook and Kobe's apps as well as Google's own Music app. Though the Kindle and Nook Are not yet updated with large tablet support, They display perfectly well and work fine. Likewise, We downloaded the free Adobe Reader for Android and found That books and PDF files formatted for the standard 8.5 x 11/computer screen looked great.
As a Laptop Replacement or Net book The
Motorola Doom is much more of a net book than the pad replacement. The Chrome-influenced tabbed web browser, Adobe's upcoming Flash, larger screen and higher resolution of the the make for a very computer-like browsing experience (it has the same resolution as many notebooks and a higher resolution than basic net books).
Tablet once-friendly Office suites are on the Android Market, the Doom Will be very capable of doing Word and Excel files on the road as well as PowerPoint presentations (hello HDMI). How does the Motorola Doom compare to the pad? Read our pad vs. Motorola Comparison Doom. How does the Doom compare to the pad 2? Read our pad 2 vs. ... Motorola Doom comparison. Read our Galaxy vs. Motorola Doom comparison. No doubt, the Motorola Doom is currently the best Android tablet on the market. That would stop me from buying a Doom? We expect a large selection of tablet-centric apps to hit the Android Market this year.
